Livio Radio – Senior Product Manager

We are looking for a rock-star senior product manager to join our crew to help with the growth in our Ferndale, MI office. Right now we are working on mobile applications and middleware for cars and other connected consumer devices.

 Job Description:

  1. Product Development
    1. Manage and update product specifications
    2. Manage bugzilla, our bug tracking system
    3. Research, test, and report on new products and technologies in the market
    4. BONUS: Be familiar with mobile application development, automotive infotainment, telematics, and/or in-car audio.
  2. Field Application Engineering
    1. Engineering sales support for our sales manager (requiring 10% travel)
    2. Understanding existing and new customer problems, then figuring out how we can adjust our products to solve those problems
    3. BONUS: Experience in FAE work within the automotive telematics space.
    4. BONUS: Industry contacts and relationships you already have in our field
  3. Project and Program Management
    1. Managing our ongoing task list for engineering
    2. Managing our sales requirements
    3. Managing dates for our product roadmap
    4. BONUS: Work experience with Microsoft Project (or similar)
    5. BONUS: PMP certification, Six Sigma (or similar)

 Required Special Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must have a 4-year Bachelors degree in Engineering, (software, electrical, operations, or systems preferred.)
  • Must have minimum of 3 years experience in automotive infotainment, car audio, or related field.
  • Must have knowledge and experience with Mac operating systems.
  • Must be able to type 40 words per minute. (yes, we will test you)
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a vehicle for travel (expenses reimbursed.)
  • Must be able to work in the USA without sponsorship.
    • Must have a passport, which is eligible to travel into China (with a Visa OK.)
    • Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.
    • Must be able to travel internationally.
